“On behalf of everyone at Gilbert-Ash, we are devastated to learn of the sad and untimely passing of our previous Managing Director, Tony Reynolds OBE.

For many years, his ambitious leadership and steady direction steered our organisation to become the success it is today.

Joining the business in 1965 before rising to become Managing Director in 1988, Tony’s leadership and legacy lives on at Gilbert-Ash.

As a company, we owe him a great debt.

Beyond Gilbert-Ash, Tony was also hugely respected throughout the entire construction industry and previously served as President of the Construction Employers Federation.

In recent years, Tony was generous in his commitment to several charitable causes in Northern Ireland.

On a personal level, Tony’s joie de vivre was highly infectious. Those of us who were lucky enough to be part of his team learnt a great deal from him.

Our thoughts today are with Tony’s wife Rosemary, their children Caroline, Christopher and Katie, and his wide circle of family and friends.”
