Development of a new college community for students and fellows within a conservation area. Croft Gardens includes c4,300m2 of post graduate accommodation comprising 24no college family apartments, 60no graduate rooms and communal facilities, as well as substantial landscaping and external works.
The design team sought a project with 100 years' design life, as well as achieving full Passivhaus Classic standards across the four buildings. Croft Gardens will be carbon negative for the first 7-10 years of operation.
