Gilbert-Ash’s planning and coordination skills came to the fore at Great Patrick Street Student Accommodation with a tight works programme leading the team to use service templates during the concrete pour as well as prefabricated shower pods.

The student accommodation was finished to a high standard and, as well as 474 bedrooms across 11 floors, the facility includes common areas, study rooms, a laundry and a gym.

The rooms are in clusters of 4 to 6 bedrooms, with each cluster having shared kitchen and living space. The building is a concrete frame with flat slab in-situ concrete with masonry facades.
