Leading construction and fit-out company, Gilbert-Ash, has celebrated the contribution and commitment of colleagues and their families at a social event.
GA FEST welcomed guests to a fun-filled day of festivities at the firm’s Belfast Headquarters at the city’s Boucher Place.
The inaugural GA FEST was held in 2022 and was a huge success. This year, the event, attended by 200 guests, was back bigger and better than ever, as the company pulled out all the stops to make it memorable.
GA FEST 2026 kicked off with lots to keep all ages entertained, including circus-themed performances, face-painting, climbing wall, rodeo bull, interactive animal experiences, DJ and live entertainment, as well as a wide variety of delicious food offerings.
Gilbert-Ash prides itself on putting its people first and creating a culture where everyone feels valued, supported and appreciated.
The company has been named among the Sunday Times Best Places to Work for two consecutive years (2025 and 2026) with 92% of staff reporting that they are proud to work for Gilbert-Ash and 90% saying they would recommend the company to friends and family.
Building on its people-focused foundation, last year Gilbert-Ash transitioned into an Employee Ownership Trust, meaning that every single member of staff at GA now has a genuine, permanent stake in the direction and success of the business.
Managing Director, Ray Hutchinson, said: “At Gilbert-Ash, we are proud to put our people at the heart of everything we do, and GA FEST was a wonderful opportunity to celebrate the dedication, teamwork and achievements that continue to drive our success.
“It was about setting work aside for the day, having fun, enjoying each other’s company, and acknowledging the people who make Gilbert-Ash the business that it is.
“We have always recognised that our people have great support at home or from friends. Therefore, it was important that we invited not just the Gilbert-Ash family, but that wider family circle as well.
“GA FEST allowed us to show our appreciation, strengthen connections and foster a sense of belonging beyond the workplace.
“Behind every project there’s a team making it happen - and, at GA FEST, they were the stars of the show.”
