A state-of-the-art learning facility within the Diplomatic Academy at the Grade 1 listed Foreign and Commonwealth Office in London, the building is named after Lady Cicely Mayhew, who was recruited to Bletchley Park to decode messages during World War II.

The scheme involved the manufacture and installation of an ambitious freestanding hyperbolic paraboloid roof structure, surrounded by a bespoke glazed oval walling system. The innovative shape enables comfortable seating for 100 people, theatre-style.

The project relied heavily on BIM with the theatre’s steel superstructure erected offsite and craned into position. Everything had to be meticulously thought-out off-site by using the digital construction methods.
