Gilbert-Ash’s portfolio of work in London increased with the completion of the Central Foundation Boys’ School project which included the design and build redevelopment of a number of school buildings located around a central courtyard within a live school environment.
The project, at Shoreditch, include demolition of the existing building and a new four-storey building constructed in order to provide purpose-built science laboratories and classrooms.
Access has been improved throughout the campus, via a new link to Block A and a new main reception. The refurbishment of Block C, which is listed by association, improves the internal layouts of classrooms and modernises the teaching facilities.
